Kettlebell Korner.

Need A Challenge?!

A few weeks ago I was teaching my kettlebell class that I teach every Wednesday.

On the rare occasion when the class is actually paying attention, not talking and goofing off throughout my the entire class...we finish a little early.

When that happens I like to throw together a little finisher for them to squeeze in some extra work.

It is usually something pretty simple like a farmers carry & pushup combo...

Straight forward and simple.

But the other day I threw together a different one just to shake things up and they were loving it.

So much so that I had to do it myself and make it into a YouTube video to share with you guys!

All you need is 9 minutes and one kettlebell to get in this finisher.

Have at it.

How's Your Mobility?!

More specifically, how's your hamstring and lower back mobility?

I really want to know how people answered that in their heads after reading it 😂

My guess is that it's pretty bad - no surprise there.

I didn't initially want to plug 2 YouTube videos in the same email but I recently made this video on how to do the Pancake stretch. One of the best mobility exercises you can do for your hamstring and lower backs.

I made this video because I put this exercise in Project Bellplex all the time and got a lot of feedback from people who couldn't really do it because they were so tight...so they wanted an alternative.

Which then made me realize people don't know how to regress the exercise, so I had to teach them...

Because this is a fantastic exercise everyone should be doing, especially those that sit a lot throughout the day.

So click below and learn how to loosen up those hammies and that lower back.

Client Shoutout

Today's client shoutout goes to Riley!

Riley has been on Project Bellplex for a couple months now. He has been crushing it and as you can see from this post he is having a good time doing it!

Riley has been consistent with posting his workouts on his story which I love to see from Bellplex members (post em up guys!)

! I appreciate him sharing and I know it is a good accountability tool for himself as well.

Now my favorite part...most of his workouts are barefoot, shirtless and outside in the sun! There is no better way to slang some bells than like that.

Riley...keep up the good work, keep sharing your adventure on Project Bellplex and keep slanging bells outside and barefoot!

Business Nugget.

Last weekend I told you guys that I was going to the Forever Strong Summit hosted by Gabrielle Lyon.

It was a great conference with fantastic speakers and tons of wisdom being dropped.

But by far, that wasn't the best part.

The best and most valuable part of it was the people and connections I made, the networking.

I was surrounded by amazing trainers, physical therapists, online coaches, gym owners, sports performance coaches, researchers and so much more.

I mean shit, I was talking to Steph Curry's trainer...

Being in the room with high achievers like that who are ahead of you in their career is a very good thing and something I think most people need more of.

I know I sure as hell do. It's not necessarily that I'm getting advice or picking up tips from the...but there is something about just being in the room and connecting with them that makes you want to be better and achieve more. They give off this "aura".

It's like motivation through osmosis.

I didn't come back wildly motivated to do this technique, and implement that practice or anything like that.

It is more of a calm "alright, let's fucking do this thing".

That's the best way I can explain it.

Anyway, get yourself in some rooms with high achievers doing better than you, and do it often. This was a goal of mine entering 2025 and I want to continue attending events like this throughout the year.

And you should too.
