Pushing Progress.

Hephaestus Athletica

And as many of you know clubs & maces have been a staple in my training for years now.

I've used many different clubs and many different maces over the years and honestly they are all pretty good.

But I have recently been put on to these clubs you see right here by Hephaestus Athletica, a newer company that has seriously nailed the clubs. I'm in love with these ones.

The handle has just a little knurling for added grip but doesn't cheese grater your hands. The rubber coating makes them perfect for indoors so you don't scratch or mess up floors (and makes the more durable). And I personally love the red and black 😎 - they have other color schemes as well.

I was fortunate enough to hop on a phone call with the owner for about 20 minutes last week and he is a great dude. Super passionate about this style of training and just making great equipment.

So if you are in the market for some clubs, maces, weighted vests, giant weighted swords, swing bags or competition kettlebells...click below and check them out!

Today's client shoutout goes to one of Project Bellplex's newer members and honestly , I don't have much to say.

Business Nugget.

Say No. Protect Your Peace.

Ove the past couple years I have gotten a lot of coaches and trainers reaching out asking if they can pick my brain on how to go about making better content, growing an online business etc.

And I'm always open to having a conversation because I really do like helping other coaches and it is a fun topic for me to talk about.

However...right now, I have some big life stuff going on (which you will find out about soon, don't worry - it's all good stuff!).

So when 2 people reached out last week about trying to set up a time to talk I unfortunately had to say not right now, let's circle back in a month when my mind isn't so cluttered.

My brain and schedule is consumed with this big life stuff going on right now so all I really want to be focused on is that, and Project Bellplex for the next month or so.

Saying no is a very difficult skill to learn, especially for a chronic people pleaser like myself. But sometimes you have to do it to protect your peace, and allow you to focus/make time for the most important things you have going on.

Life gets busy and crazy a lot of times, an if you try juggling 15 balls at once, they'll likely all fall.

But if you just juggle 2-3 at a time, you'll be able to focus, and keep those going strong.

4 Rules to Get Strong & Build Muscle From Home My wife and I are currently in the middle of packing up our apartment for a move. And that includes the garage gym... I've sold a bunch of equipment moved everything else around to get it ready for moving day! So needless to say...the garage gym is a shell of what it was just a week ago and quite frankly I don't have too much time to workout right now. But that doesn't mean progress stalls and workouts suffer. I have 24sq feet, a few kettlebells...

One of the things that people like to use as an insult for kettlebells is that they are a "Jack of all Trades, Master of None". Which I find ironic because...that is exactly what makes the kettlebell such an amazing piece of...
