Kettlebell Korner.

Your Next Kettlebell Workout.

I am in the process of creating a new program. It is a program of nothing but workouts under 15 minutes, all follow along workouts.

A lot of people out there just need a workout that is extra quick to get something in because their days are crazy busy or they're just getting back into the swing of things and don't want to overdo it.

I am really excited for this program because I think it is going to do a lot of good things for people - it is a great stepping stone for people who might not be ready for Project Bellplex just yet.

The workouts are simple, quick and you only need 1 kettlebell for them.

1.) If this sounds interesting to you, I have a sample workout ready for you to check out. I just posted it on YouTube the other day. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, just drop a comment!

2.) I need help naming this program, so if you could take 2 seconds to vote below it would help a lot!

Pushing Progress.

How Important Are Rest Periods?

One of THE most common questions I get on social media is "how long should I rest between sets?"

This has made me want to start a series called "Things people worry about that aren't nearly as important as they think they are"

Now...it's not to say that rest periods don't matter at all or make a difference, they do.

But I know for a fact that 91% of people asking this have other things they should be focused on and worried about with their workouts before how long they rest between sets matters.

Are you increasing weight? Are you increasing reps? Are your workouts intense enough? Are you doing the right exercises? Is your form correct? Are you working out often enough? etc.

And that's just workouts...I didn't even touch on food and supplementation.

My point with all of this is I know there are a lot of people out there worrying about tiny things that don't matter nearly as much as the big things. And even when you think you have the big things dialed in, you'd still probably be better off nailing them down even more before worrying about if you are resting too much or too little between sets.

If it makes you feel any better...I never, EVER track my rest periods.

96% of people will be just fine resting "as needed" between their sets.

Client Shoutout

Today's client shoutout come from a member of Project Bellplex who has been crushing it for almost 5 months now!

This is a story I hear so much...guy is working out like crazy...has a kid and then can't keep up with the old routine and (sometimes) falls off completely.

But now after nearly 2 years away from training, this dad of two (under two!) is back to rolling around on the floor with his daughter, moving pain-free, and feeling strong again.

Nothing beats a story like this. This is what it is all about.

Business Nugget.

Keep. Going.

Project Bellplex is almost 2 years old.

If 2 years ago you told me it would be as big as it is now I'd tell you there is no fucking way and you're crazy.

In 2 years this program and my business have gotten to places I truly didn't think was possible in 2 years.

It's completely changed my quality of life in so many ways I can't even begin to describe.

I bring this up for one reason...not to pat myself on the back.

But in the hopes that someone reading this today is new, or struggling in their journey of building a business, or making content or anything really.

Keep. Fucking. Going.

Most people never make it because they quit too soon, not because they aren't good enough.

You're going to fuck up. You're going to feel like it's not working. You're going to think "there's no way I can get to that point".

Good - that's all normal.

That's what hard feels like.

Keep your chin up and push through. Because the tough times are only temporary when you don't stop.
